Treasure Staffing's principal and owner is, Saoirse (seersha) Downey. Saoirse is an Irish native; who has made San Francisco her home since 1996. She graduated with a BA from University College Dublin and went on to complete a Masters in International Marketing at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Saoirse has extensive experience and success in placing the right candidate in the right organization. She began her career, managing temporary placement and candidate career transition, for a boutique staffing firm in 1996. There she was directly responsible for increasing the business by 350%. In 2000, she joined a leading national staffing organization as the Branch Manager. There she juggled full time searches, business development and the management of the organizations ‘Flagship Branch’.
After the birth of her first child in September 2004, she decided that she wanted to focus on what she enjoyed most, Executive Search. As a result, Saoirse founded Treasure Staffing, an Executive Search Firm that specializes in recruiting 'passive' candidates for her corporate clients and marketing her candidates to organizations that would be ideal matches for their professional background and desired next career move.
